Password rotation reminder on WhatsApp

Shared admin passwords and service credentials stay the same for years because nobody remembers to change them.

How to set it on WhatsApp

Send RememberMyTask: “Remind me every 90 days to rotate the shared admin passwords”. Pick the accounts that matter most: shared logins, service accounts, and router or server admin. Reply done once rotated, and update your password manager at the same time.

Questions

Should personal passwords be rotated on a schedule?

Current guidance favours long unique passwords and 2FA over forced rotation for personal accounts. Change them when there is a breach or a reason, and rotate shared and service credentials on a schedule.

Which passwords matter most?

Email, password manager master password, domain registrar, cloud console, banking, and any shared admin login. Losing email often means losing everything else.

Where should I store rotated passwords?

In a password manager, not in chat, notes or spreadsheets. Never send a password to the reminder bot.

Can it remind the whole team?

No. Reminders only go to you. Each person who owns credentials can set their own.
