RememberMyTask is provided by PINGTAIL PARTNERS, NH231, Above Axis Bank, Gulabbagh, Purnia, Bihar 854326, India (GSTIN 10ABGFP2315N1ZF) (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we handle when you use the RememberMyTask WhatsApp service and this website, why, and what rights you have. We are the data controller for this data.
The short version
- We store only what we need to send your reminders and run your account.
- We show no ads. We never sell or rent your data.
- We send no marketing messages. You get your reminders, the daily summary if you turned it on, and notices about your account, such as your trial ending.
- Send “delete my data” in the chat and your account is erased within 30 days.
What we store
- Your WhatsApp phone number. Your number is your account.
- Your settings: time zone, language, plan and daily summary time.
- Your reminders: the text, the time, how they repeat, and whether they are done, snoozed or cancelled.
- A log of messages between you and RememberMyTask, kept for 90 days so we can fix problems and answer support questions.
- Payments: the plan you bought, the amount, the date and the payment reference. Our payment provider handles your card, UPI or bank details. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Support emails you send us.
We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location or photos. Please do not put passwords, card numbers or other secrets in a reminder.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you asked for: understand your messages, send reminders on time, take payments and answer support. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep the service working and safe: fix errors, prevent abuse and keep records the law requires. These are our legitimate interests and legal duties.
- The daily summary is sent only because you turned it on. Send “stop summary” to turn it off.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build profiles of you for anyone else.
Companies that help us
We use a small number of service providers. Each one receives only what it needs, and may use it only to provide its service to us.
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform): carries the messages between you and us. Meta’s own WhatsApp privacy policy applies to your use of WhatsApp.
- Anthropic: its AI model reads each message you send so we can understand the reminder you want, such as the task, the time and how it repeats. Under Anthropic’s commercial API terms, your messages are not used to train its models.
- Razorpay: processes payments when you pay by the link we send.
- Hetzner Online: hosts our servers and database in the European Union (Finland).
We may also share data if the law requires it, to protect people’s safety, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Where your data goes
Your data is stored in Finland. Our providers may process it in other countries, including the United States and India. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- The message log: 90 days.
- Your account, settings and reminders: until you delete them. If you send “delete my data”, or you send us no message for 12 months, we delete your account data within 30 days.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep them, even after your account is deleted.
- Support emails: as long as needed to answer you, then deleted with your account.
- Backups expire on their normal schedule after deletion.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. You can do most of this in the chat: “settings” shows your time zone, plan and summary time, “list” shows your reminders, and “delete my data” erases your account. For anything else, email hello@remembermytask.com from any address and tell us your WhatsApp number. We may ask you to confirm the request from that number. We answer within one month.
If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live. In India that is the Data Protection Board of India.

Security
Data travels encrypted between WhatsApp, our providers and our servers. Access to the servers is limited to the people who run the service. No system is perfectly secure, so if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
This website
This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies: no analytics, no ads, no tracking pixels. Our server keeps basic technical logs of requests, such as the page and time, for a short period to keep the site running and secure.
Age
RememberMyTask is not meant for children. You must be old enough to use WhatsApp in your country.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the chat before they apply.
