1. Who we are
RememberMyTask is provided by PINGTAIL PARTNERS, NH231, Above Axis Bank, Gulabbagh, Purnia, Bihar 854326, India (GSTIN 10ABGFP2315N1ZF) (“we”, “us”). These terms are a contract between us and you, the person who messages RememberMyTask. By sending us a message or paying for a plan, you agree to them.
2. The service
RememberMyTask is a reminder service that works inside WhatsApp. You write a reminder in plain words, and we send you a WhatsApp message at the time you asked for. You can set one-off and repeating reminders, deadlines with early nudges, nag mode, an optional daily summary, and manage them by message. The service exists only on WhatsApp. There is no app and no separate account: your WhatsApp number is your account.
To understand your messages we use an AI model (see the privacy policy). It can misread a message. We always reply with what we understood, so please check the confirmation and correct it if it is wrong.
3. Free trial
Your first 7 days are free, with every feature. We do not ask for payment details for the trial. When the trial ends without a payment, your reminders keep going for 24 hours, then pause. Nothing is deleted, and paying resumes them.
4. Plans and payment
- 30 days: $4.99 for 30 days of use from the date of payment.
- Lifetime: $99 once, for use of the service for as long as we provide it.
- Every plan includes every feature.
- You pay by a secure link that we send in the chat, through our payment provider (card, UPI or netbanking, depending on what it offers in your country).
- No automatic renewal. We never charge you without you paying a link yourself. Before your 30 days end, we send a new link. If you do not pay it, your reminders pause as described in section 3.
- Prices are shown in USD and include any tax we must charge, unless the payment page says otherwise. Your bank may add conversion fees.
- If we change prices, the new price applies only to payments made after the change. A lifetime plan already bought is not affected.
5. Refunds
You can ask for a full refund of any payment within 14 days of making it, by email or in the chat. The details are in our refund policy, which is part of these terms.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow our acceptable use policy. It is part of these terms. In short: the service is for reminding yourself, so do not use it to harass anyone, store unlawful content, or attack or overload the service.
7. Do not rely on it for safety-critical reminders
Delivery depends on WhatsApp, Meta, your phone, your network and our servers. Reminders are sent on a best-effort basis and can occasionally be late or fail. Do not use RememberMyTask as your only reminder for anything where a missed or late message could cause harm, such as medicine you cannot miss, medical appointments or legal deadlines.
8. WhatsApp
WhatsApp is a product of Meta Platforms, Inc. RememberMyTask is an independent service built on the WhatsApp Business Platform. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Meta. Your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp’s own terms. Meta may limit or change the platform, and we are not responsible for its decisions.
9. Stopping and deleting
- Send “stop” at any time and we stop sending you messages.
- Send “delete my data” and we erase your account (see the data deletion page). A paid period or lifetime plan ends when the account is deleted, unless you ask for a refund within the refund window.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we warn you first.
- If we ever stop the service, we will tell you in the chat at least 30 days before.
10. Our service and your content
We own the service, the software and the RememberMyTask name. You may use the service for your own personal or work reminders. You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any duty to you.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, and we give no promises beyond those in these terms. We work to keep it available and correct, but we do not promise that it will run without breaks or errors. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove one that you are likely to rely on, we will tell you first where we can.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer that cannot be removed by contract.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses caused by a late, missed or misunderstood reminder. Our total liability for all claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be removed by contract, including the right to bring a claim in your own country.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the chat at least 30 days before it applies. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and delete your data.
