API key expiry reminder on WhatsApp
A token expires quietly, the integration stops at 2am, and the error log just says unauthorised.
How to set it on WhatsApp
When you create a key with an expiry, tell RememberMyTask: “Remind me to rotate the GitHub deploy token before 15 January”. You get nudges 2 days and 1 day before, so set the date a week ahead of the real expiry. For keys without expiry, rotate on a schedule like “every 90 days”.

Questions
How do I avoid downtime when rotating a key?
Create the new key first, deploy it, confirm traffic works, then revoke the old one. Most providers let two keys be active at once.
Where do I find the expiry date?
In the provider’s console where the key or token was created. Write it down along with which service uses it.
Should I paste the key into the reminder?
No. Name the key and where it is used, never the secret itself.
What else tends to expire?
Personal access tokens, service account keys, signing certificates, and webhook secrets. Set a reminder when you create each one.
