On-call handover reminder on WhatsApp
Your on-call week ends, you forget the handover note, and the next person starts blind.
How to set it on WhatsApp
Tell RememberMyTask: “Remind me every monday 9:30am to write the on-call handover”, matching your rotation. If you are on call every few weeks, use one-off reminders such as “monday 9am”. Several reminders due together arrive as one numbered message, so they stay tidy.

Questions
What goes in a handover note?
Open incidents, anything flapping, deploys or changes planned for the coming week, and known risks. Link the dashboards and runbooks the next person will need.
How should I prepare before my shift?
Check laptop charge and VPN access, test that pager alerts reach your phone, and skim recent incidents.
Can it page me for incidents?
No. It is for planned reminders only. Use your alerting tool for incident pages.
Can I change the time if the rotation shifts?
Yes. Ask the bot to list your reminders and edit the handover one, or reply “actually 10am” right after setting it.
