Rent is due on the same day every month, and it still slips past when the week gets busy.
How to set it on WhatsApp
Message RememberMyTask on WhatsApp: “Remind me every month on the 1st at 10am to pay rent, nag me”. It repeats every month on that day. With nag me, it re-sends every 30 minutes, up to 3 times, until you reply done. If you pay by UPI, you can pay right from the same phone.

Questions
When should I set the rent reminder?
Set it a day or two before your landlord expects payment, or on the due day with nag me. If your salary lands on a fixed date, put the reminder the day after.
What should I keep ready to pay rent?
Keep your landlord’s UPI ID or bank details saved as a beneficiary, and ask for a receipt each month. Rent receipts help if you claim HRA at work.
Can it remind my flatmates too?
Yes. Send “remind Rohan on the 1st at 10am to pay his rent share”. The first time, you get an invite link to send him; he taps it once, then gets the reminder on his own WhatsApp with a Done button, and you are told when he taps it.
Can I change the time later?
Yes. Reply “actually 9am” right after setting it, or ask the bot to list your reminders and edit the rent one.
