How early should I start a passport renewal?
A safe window is 9 to 12 months before expiry. Many countries refuse entry if your passport has less than six months left, and appointment slots can take weeks.
What documents should I keep ready?
Usually your current passport, address proof and a photo ID, plus any name change documents. In India, check the current list on the Passport Seva site before your appointment.
Can I set reminders for the whole family?
