Invoice reminder on WhatsApp

The work is done, but the invoice is still a draft, and you will not be paid until you send it.

How to set it on WhatsApp

Message RememberMyTask “Remind me every month on the 1st to send invoices”. It repeats monthly on that day. For an unpaid invoice, set a one-off reminder for the day after it is due, so you chase it on time.

Questions

When should I send an invoice?

As soon as the work or milestone is done, or on a fixed day each month for retainers. Waiting only pushes your payment date back.

Can the bot send the invoice to my client?

No, it does not send files. It can remind your client to send something, or remind you to send the invoice: “remind my client Mehta ji on the 5th to send the GST documents”. The client taps your invite link once, and you are told when they confirm.

What should every invoice have?

Your details, the client’s details, an invoice number, date, a clear description, the amount, tax details such as GSTIN if you are registered, and the payment terms.

How do I chase a late payment politely?

Send a short message with the invoice number, amount and due date, and ask when they expect to pay. Set a reminder to follow up again a week later if needed.
